Our Story
In May of 2023, our 3 year old daughter, Binesiikwe, was having a bout of fevers. We brought her to the emergency room 3 times and weren't getting any answers while her condition got worse. Her fevers were uncontrollable.

She was brought by ambulance from Crosby, MN to Minneapolis Children's Medical Center where we stayed in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for 2 weeks waiting to be diagnosed. All the while we watched our baby's condition worsen. She was eventually diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

As of October 1st, we are in MCMC with mouth sores from her latest round of chemo. Very supported. Miigwech!! (thank you)
